  • MSC Seashore

    MSC Seashore

    Maximum capacity: 5,632 passengers
    Size: 339 m long, 76 m high
Decks: 20, with 11 restaurants, 18 bars, 5 pools and 15 hot tubs on board.
    Launched: 2021

    What makes MSC Seashore special

MSC Seashore is the first ocean-going ship in the world to be fitted with a new kind of air sanitation system, called “Safe Air”, which uses UV-C technology to remove viruses and bacteria from the air.

The ship is also energy efficient, with a smart heating and cooling system and an advanced wastewater treatment system.

A highlight of MSC Seashore is Danza del Mare, a “sculpture” of glass shapes rising four decks high that symbolises caring for the sea.

MSC Seashore pays tribute to New York, a city that stands for discovery and culture, two cornerstones of MSC Cruises. So the design of MSC Seashore, its public spaces and the names of its venues are all inspired by the American metropolis.
They include an impressive three-metre replica of the Statue of Liberty at the heart of the casino, and a huge shopping and entertainment area aptly named Times Square. Here a stunning 8.5-metre LED wall spanning four decks shows the iconic skyline of Manhattan’s entertainment hub, changing from day to night.

Another amazing design feature on MSC Seashore is the Bridge of Sighs, which arches 22 metres above the Infinity pool with breathtaking ocean views. Panoramic lifts and glass-floored walkways add to the wonderful views.

    Pools and relaxation

There are 5 wonderful pools on MSC Seashore. The main pool, named Long Island in a nod to New York, is perfect for relaxing during the day, as is any of the 15 hot tubs. The Infinity Pool is at the stern of the ship, with amazing views of the ocean.

For the ultimate in relaxation, head to the MSC Aurea Spa 🙂 Massages, body treatments and facials, a barber shop, a solarium, a thalasso room, a thermal area (with a steam room, Kneipp walk, sauna, plunge pool, salt room and snow room) and yoga will refresh body and soul.

    Get your adrenaline pumping

If you want a really action-packed, exciting trip, MSC Seashore is the perfect choice! The adrenaline-fuelled options include the Formula 1 simulator, the interactive cinema and the gaming room, where you can even try VR rafting.

And if sport is how you like to liven up your days, you are in the right place too, as MSC Seashore has a gym and a sports court. Billiards and table football are good for a bit of exercise and a great way to socialise.

In the evening you can try your luck in the casino, or for something less risky, catch a world-class show in the MSC Seashore theatre!

Restaurants and bars on MSC Seashore

Besides the main dining rooms, Seashore has several themed restaurants where you can taste cuisines from around the world, including an American steakhouse, a Latin American and Mexican restaurant, a sushi restaurant, an Asian restaurant and a seafood restaurant.

You will never tire of the drinks on offer, as almost every one of the 19 bars has its own theme. Try something new every day: there is a café, a champagne and wine bar, a cocktail bar, a chocolate bar and a gelato bar.

Cruising with kids on MSC Seashore

Whatever their age, we guarantee your kids won’t be bored on board MSC Seashore, which means a more relaxing trip for you parents than you might think! There are themed clubs for ages 0 to 18, where children can have fun and make new friends.

Little ones under 3 (and their parents, of course) have a Baby Club created with baby brand Chicco. The Mini Club (ages 3–6) and Junior Club (ages 7–11) have the LEGO theme familiar from MSC ships, while older kids (ages 12–14 and 15–17) have cool hangouts of their own.

During the day, entertainment and a family cinema keep the whole family happy, not to mention the aquapark and the mini adventure park around it! Click here for lots of useful information on cruising with kids.

    MSC Seashore destinations

On board MSC Seashore you can discover MSC’s exclusive Bahamas destination, Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve. It is a gorgeous private island packed with water sports, beaches and things to see. A wide range of water sports awaits: WaveRunner tours, snorkelling, kayaking and much more. You can even choose a 3 to 5-day cruise that starts and ends in Orlando and spends its time at Ocean Cay.

MSC Seashore sails its Caribbean itineraries from Orlando. The great thing is that even the shorter 3, 4 and 5-day cruises return to Orlando, so if you don’t have time for anything longer, a short cruise is a perfect add-on to a trip to the US.

    Maximum capacity: 1,266 guests
Decks: 12, with 8 bars and lounges, 4 restaurants and 1 pool on board.
    Launched: 2002 (refurbished in 2023)

Celestyal Discovery was built in 2002 and “served” with AIDA Cruises for twenty years. Celestyal bought her in 2023, refurbished her, and since March 2024 she has been sailing as Celestyal Discovery.

What makes Celestyal cruises special is that the ships can call at up to two places a day, so you can see a huge amount even on a shorter cruise. Another plus is that even on the shorter 2-, 3- and 4-night cruises the ship returns to the port it set off from, which makes it easier to arrange your travel and flights.

Restaurants and bars on Celestyal Discovery

The ship’s chefs prepare mouth-watering dishes from fresh, local ingredients for a real culinary experience. The main restaurant serves international cuisine, while the grill restaurant offers Greek specialities. There’s also a street food eatery and an à la carte restaurant on board.

Celestyal Discovery has 8 bars and lounges. You can read about the drinks included in the fare and the drinks packages you can buy separately in our overview of Celestyal, here.

    Facilities on Celestyal Discovery

Unwind after a day of excursions and excitement in the spa, where a range of massages and treatments will relax body and soul. If you fancy working up a sweat, there’s a sauna and a gym too, so you don’t have to skip your workout on holiday.

    Celestyal Discovery itineraries

In summer, the Celestyal ships explore the enchanting Mediterranean, and in winter they sail fabulous routes around Dubai and the United Arab Emirates.

On Celestyal Discovery you can choose from several itineraries in both the Mediterranean and the Persian Gulf. Here’s a taste of the islands and cities you can visit on board Celestyal Discovery:

    Mediterranean cruises on Celestyal Discovery

On Celestyal Discovery you can book 3- and 4-night cruises, which are great because even though they’re short, the ship returns to its departure port at the end. On board Celestyal Discovery you can visit Mykonos, Rhodes, Patmos, Santorini, Crete and Kuşadası in Turkey, from where the ancient ruins of Ephesus are easy to reach.

Dubai and the UAE with Celestyal Discovery

You can book 3- and 7-night cruises on Celestyal Discovery to the fabulous Persian Gulf. The great thing about Celestyal cruises is that the ships return to their departure port even on short itineraries. Along the way you can discover the region’s most magnificent cities and stunning sights. A taste of the ports: Khasab (Oman), Muscat (Oman), Sir Bani Yas, Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Doha (Qatar).

    Cabins on Celestyal Discovery

Cabins on Celestyal Discovery come with a bathroom with shower, TV, safe, telephone, air conditioning and hairdryer. In most cabins the beds can be arranged as two singles or a double.
