MSC Seaside rewrites the rules of cruise ship design and brings you closer to the sea than any ship before her. Below deck 8 you’ll find a unique seafront promenade where you can swim and sunbathe, with restaurants and bars too. What makes MSC Seaside special are features such as her elegant four-deck atrium, her unique pools and an adventure park, and her destinations are pretty special too. Scroll down to read all about them.

Elegance and relaxation on MSC Seaside

From the moment you step on board and arrive in the sparkling four-deck atrium, you can tell you’ve landed somewhere luxurious. The multi-level, glass-walled atrium is a lovely spot for guests to take in the views and enjoy the entertainment in the evenings. You can also enjoy breathtaking views from the two glass-floored walkways outside the atrium.

On the waterfront promenade you really will feel the sea is within arm’s reach. And the “Bridge of Sighs”, which arches out over the sea, is a one-of-a-kind spot on the ship you have to try. It will take your breath away!

Activities and fun on MSC Seaside

This 20-deck ship has plenty of activities, and a few surprises, in store! Let’s start with the water fun. There are four pools and an aqua park with five slides, where kids and grown-ups alike can splash about to their heart’s content! The Miami Beach pool stands out for the sunloungers built right into its edge.

The MSC Aurea Spa is the place to recharge body and mind. It offers a barber shop, beauty salon, nail salon, hair salon, massages, body treatments, a steam room, sauna, solarium and salt room.

If you prefer to relax more actively, you won’t be bored either: you can get your daily workout done in the well-equipped gym while admiring the views, or for something more casual, enjoy a game of bowling with friends or family, or play a match or two on the multi-purpose sports court (tennis, football, volleyball and basketball).

The most exciting part of MSC Seaside is without doubt the zip line on the top deck, a mini adventure park with a rope course where you can whizz along the line with wonderful views all around. Don’t miss it! Other adrenaline-boosting options include the Formula 1 simulator and the interactive cinema.

And if you still have energy left for a night out after all that, head to the disco, the casino, the billiards room or the theatre: something different every night, whatever you’re in the mood for!

Restaurants and bars on MSC Seaside

As well as the main and buffet restaurants, you can try several speciality restaurants serving Asian flavours, American steaks and seafood, for example. The bars won’t disappoint either: on a 7–10-night cruise you could try up to 2 new bars every day 🙂

Cruising with kids

Do bring your children on MSC Seaside: everyone from 0 to 18 will have a brilliant time! Together with the baby brand Chicco, MSC has created a baby playroom for children up to 3 on several of its ships, including MSC Seaside. Older children are split into two age groups, with Mini (3–6) and Junior (7–11) clubs kitted out with a LEGO theme. For teens there is a teen club and virtual games, and there’s a family cinema too.

Wonderful destinations on board MSC Seaside

On MSC Seaside you can discover MSC’s exclusive Bahamas destination, Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve. It is a stunning private island packed with water sports, beaches and things to see. Connect with nature and swim in the turquoise sea, or enjoy a relaxing massage in a cabana and then explore the island. A wide choice of water sports awaits: WaveRunner tours, snorkelling, kayaking and much more.

On Caribbean cruises from Miami you can visit magical places such as the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, the Bahamas… and of course Ocean Cay!

Cabins on MSC Seaside

Every cabin on MSC Seaside has a telephone, Wi-Fi, a safe, minibar, TV, bathroom and hairdryer. The beds can be arranged as a double or two singles (except in some accessible cabins, where only single beds are available).

Interior cabins measure 14–28 m² and have no window. We recommend them if you’re looking for the best-value cabin type and plan to spend most of the day on deck or on excursions.

Ocean view cabins measure 17 m², are on deck 5 and have a sea-view window and a comfortable sofa.

Balcony cabins measure 16–17 m², with a 4–9 m² balcony. They also have a comfortable sofa, and some have a bathtub instead of a shower.

The ship also has a range of comfortable, spacious suites.

MSC Yacht Club

On MSC Seaside you too can enjoy the luxury of the MSC Yacht Club! It is a separate area on MSC’s newer ships where you can enjoy a private holiday in luxurious surroundings. Yacht Club guests have their own restaurant, pool, grill bar, rooftop terrace and lounge, away from the other guests.
