Founded in 2014 and Greek-owned, Celestyal Cruises is a breath of fresh air among the cruise lines. Thanks to its Greek roots, it shows off the very best of the Eastern Mediterranean with real passion. In its first ten years Celestyal Cruises picked up more than 80 awards, not least for its warm hospitality, imaginative itineraries and dedication to the Eastern Mediterranean.
What makes a Celestyal cruise special is that the ships can call at two places in a single day, Crete and Santorini for example, so even a short cruise packs in far more sightseeing than most. Another plus is that even the shorter 2, 3 and 4-night cruises return to the port they set off from, which makes it easier to plan your travel and flights around the cruise.

What is included in the fare?
Since 2025 Celestyal ships have offered a single package, Celestyal One, which includes:
- three meals a day on board, plus extra snacks at the Greek Deli and Pizza Oven all day long
- drinks while the main restaurant is open (filter coffee, tea, mineral water, soft drinks and juices by the glass)
- free basic Wi-Fi (browsing, email and some chat apps)
- entertainment and some onboard services
The cruise prices on our website of course include port charges and the mandatory gratuities.
Drinks on Celestyal ships
In 2025 Celestyal Cruises scrapped drinks packages on its ships and introduced prepaid credit instead (the food and drink tab), which you spend on drinks on board. Pay for it in advance and you get bonus credit on top.
Buy in advance and the cruise line adds these bonuses:
- €1,000: €250 bonus
- €750: €175 bonus
- €500: €100 bonus
- €300: €55 bonus
- €200: €35 bonus
- €100: €15 bonus

And if that were not enough…
Meet one of Celestyal’s special touches, the Concierge Service. If you book a suite (a Grand Dream Suite or Stargazer Suite on Celestyal Journey, or a Grand Dream Suite on Celestyal Discovery), you get personal service from your own dedicated concierge. When you arrive, you enjoy priority boarding and are shown to your cabin, where a bottle of sparkling wine is waiting, and your luggage is brought up for you. On request, your concierge will book the speciality restaurants for you, or you can have dinner served in your suite. They arrange private excursions and book your spa appointments too.
